Subject: Guess who got to go camping!!

Hello everyone!

You guessed it, we got to go to the Father and Sons camp out with our ward this weekend.  Actually President Pendleton wouldn't let us sleep inside of a tent but because it was out at the Comstock's house where we live we got to go to dinner with them.  Then in the morning we went out and helped the Elders Quorum make breakfast for everyone.   It was pretty close to camping right?

Our week went pretty well.   One of my favorite parts was zone conference because we have to opportunity to be instructed by our leaders as dictated by the spirit.  It is really neat to see President Pendleton receive revelation and then share it with us.  Our main focus was receiving revelations through prayer, scriptures and church attendance. At the end of the meeting President pulled us aside and told us that if the information that we covered that day didn't get into the hearts of the missionaries it is our fault.  Wow, talk about dumping a load on us!  But I do feel like this is the direction the Lord wants us to go so we must learn how to help others receive revelation.

Oh I almost forgot, I got invited to a party in Fruita Co in July!  I'm pretty excited!!  Except I really don't think I'll  be able to get permission to go, we only get 1500 miles a month in our cars and they are pretty strict about staying lower than that.  :)  But that is pretty cool that Jason Aaron is getting married.  She looks like a really good girl, good for them.

Well not much out of the ordinary happened this week but I found this cool quote by elder Oaks:

"Faith in the Lord is trust in the Lord.  We cannot have true faith in the Lord without also having complete trust in the Lord's will and in the Lord's timing.  As a result, no matter how strong our faith is, it cannot produce a result contrary to the will of him in whom we have faith.  Remember that when your prayers do not seem to be answered in the way or at the time you desire....When we have that kind of faith and trust in the Lord, we have true security and serenity in our lives."

So stay strong, keep the faith, and enjoy life!

    I love you all!
