Subject: Transfers!!
Sounds like you had a great time at church! I would say that it was similar here, but it's not! We have absolutely no snow and it had better stay that way.
Tommorow is transfers for us so we found out who is staying and who is going! Elder Burnell is getting shipped up to Redding and I am getting a new companion, Elder Ricks. I met Elder Ricks once at zone conference because he is my mission grandfather. This is going to be his last transfer before he goes home so I know I'll get another companion next tranfer too. Which is fine with me because I finally feel like I know everyone in the ward. It's amazing how much easier it is to remember an entire ward when all you do is centered around that ward. So I will probably be in Lincoln for the next three or four months. I also had my first president's interview this past week, and it lasted all of thirty seconds! I guess we just don't have much to talk about yet.
We set a baptism date with Al this week. Unfortunately, his father is now expecting to die soon so he will be out of town for the next two weeks and we might have to wait another month. But that might be good so we can make sure that he is really ready for it. He has finished reading all his books that prove religion through physics and has now started with the Book of Mormon. He has a great desire to do good in this life and I know that the gospel will help him gain a better understanding of the bigger picture.
As for my missionary plaque, I was thinking about using DandC 76:22, but I was wondering if I could buy another week and let you know next week. And I was also wondering if I could get the addresses of all the other missionaries in our ward, except Jason's. I already have that. Oh, I think I finally finished my Christmas package to Jason so I should be able to send that tonight. It has been really hard to don anything with the holidays. Today is only my second real P-Day since Ive been out, and no one wants to talk to us in the holiday either so it's great to finally be done.
Well I love ya all!
