Ryan's letters are also posted at http://elderryanallred.blogspot.com/
Below the dotted line is the message that I thought I sent to you last week, but I guess I forgot the I after BYU. Oh well, you get two this week. I did get the letters from mom, two of them. I remember dad throwing that letter to me and I forgot about it. So now I guess you can activate it. Thanks. Oh and I already bought new scriptures, I was wondering why you never sent me a dear elder telling me whether or not I could buy new ones. By the way, I had asked you in the below letter for them. I finally got sick of waiting for your answer when I ripped another page out of my BoM so I just bought a new set, thanks.
Life is pretty good here, and I only have one week left until I get to actually start teaching. Oh, guess what mom? Elder Busche and his wife gave the devotional last week. I got to go and talk to him after. He talked about grandpa in his talk but didn't mention his name.
Hey, when is Kristies play? Don't forget to record it if you still can. Is Scott married yet? He still hasn't sent me any letters, I wrote him soo much while he was in the mtc. The work here is fun and the more I do it the more I look forward to doing this the rest of my life. The gospel is the only thing I think I could stand doing for so long. Sorry dad, but I would get really sick of being an accountant after a day or two. We get to do phone calls and it is amazing to see how many people are really interested in learning about the gospel, many of them have never heard ogf the Book of Mormon and the never considered the idea that Christ visited all Gods children. The BoM fascinates them and they want to learn more asap. We sometime give people most of the first lesson over the phone. I can't wait to get to really talk to people face to face.
Well that's all I think I want to write today. Thanks for everything.
Love Elder Ryan J Allred

Hey this is my first P-Day, its on Tuesdays for now just so you know. I don't have much time so Ill just ask you a quick question. My scriptures are pretty old and a lot of the pages are tearing. It is not a big deal, but I would like to buy a new set since they are pretty cheap here. I think that it would be helpful to have separate Bible and BofMormon copies. I have enough money here for them but if I use that money I won't have enough for emergency money. So we have three choices; you could write me via dearelder.com tomorrow and tell me to buck up and deal with the old scriptures, or you could tell me tomorrow that you will send reinforcements of fifty dollars in the mail and I will use the money I have and wait patiently for the reinforcements, or I think you can buy things through dearelder.com and just pick out what you want them to give me. If you choose the latter, I was just going to buy a green set of the cheaper ones with tabs, but not a quad. Please let me know as soon as you can so I can get them marked. Thanks.
I have not yet recieved the letter from my mother, just so you know. I did however have the oppurtunity to go to the temple this morning. It was wonderfull to be there where the spirit is so strong. I love it here at the MTC and I just finished doing my laundry succesfully for the first time. Thanks for being a supporting family.

P.S. Just so the Girls con't say that I don't talk to them, HI girls.
P.P.S. Oh and I tried to make this look pretty but these are pretty old computers and there is no spell check so thanks for fixing all my errors dad.
P.P.P.S. And I placed my first Book of Mormon. Well, sort of. We call people to see if they recieved there free copies, and the lady I called wasn't home so I talked to her roomate and challenged her to accept the BofM and the missionaries. She seemed pretty excited and wanted a movie of Christ too. So I sent the missionaries in her area over to her.
P.P.P.P.S. I was the only one in my district to get someone to say yes!
P.P.P.P.P.S. Im very Humble!!!
Have Fun
