Ryan's Letter:

Subject: Hurrah For Israel!!

Dear Family!
We finally got in with Matt and Stacia this week! They are the family that we tracted into a couple of months ago and have been trying to get in ever since. On Wednesday this past week, we stopped by hoping to set up an appointment with them, but instead they let us come in and talk with them. They are such and nice family and they could really benefit from the gospel. I have tracted into a lot of great people out here, but for some reason this family is a little different. Both Elder Haines and I have felt something very special about them, and I feel pretty confident that they will accept the gospel within the near future. We were both really excited about that.
The work in both of our areas is really picking up. So much so that we are having a hard time making it to all of our appointments. We actually set a goal to set baptism dates with 5 of our investigators this week. We will be inviting at least seven people to be baptized so we have a possibility of two more. The Lord has really blessed us. Then yesterday something happened to make it even easier for us to reach our goal-
-Miracle of the Week-
During our Elders quorum meeting in the singles ward, Matt Strock (our elders quorum President) asked if we had any visitors. It turned out that there was only one so all of our attention was on him. He stood up and introduced himself as Ethen and then he told us something that every missionary prays for. He said that yesterday was only his second time visiting our church, he wanted to learn more, and he was interesting in converting. Not very many missionaries find investigators as easy as that! It got even better as I intrduced myself to him after the meeting and he asked if he could meet with us every day this week. Then he came to gospel principle class with us so we lesson plan and told of the restoration. The spirit was very strong at the end of the lesson so I offered him a copy of the Book of Mormon; he turned down my offer, but that was only because he already had one. Preach My Gospel say that when we have to faith to find people to teach either the Lord will you to those who are prepared, or he will lead them to you.

We were very excited about everything that happened this week and we have a lot of great things coming up. I really believe what we are taught in Alma 13:23. The Lords church continues to roll forward, it is great to be a part of it.
Well I love you all and hope that you are having amazing experiences everyday.
Love Elder Allred
