Subject: Merry Christmas! Read your scriptures!!
Hey everyone, guess what, we only have a half Pday today, the next week and the next week. I have only had one full Pday since I got to the mission. So my email is going to be really short, I hope. Everything is going really well. You would think that people would be more receptive to letting us into their homes because it is Christmas, but no one wants to talk to us. They all just tell us to come back in a month. I think they need Kristie to come and teach them what Christmas is all about, (you know, Santa hats and shirts that count down the number of days until we get to open a lot of presents that we get for free without paying for them, except someone else had to pay for them--the elves I think). But we are really starting to get the members involved in the wards. We have to teach at least twenty lessons a week so we teach a lot of the members. It's great because we visit all the members at least once a month if not once a week so they are starting to feel the pressure to get us refferals.
Dad, I am very proud of you for using shorthand, but "JK" is for little kids. You've got to use cool stuff like "CTR, BofM, FHE, MAQ" stuff with meaning. I got a dress sweater today and it was pretty cheap. I also got a hoodie but then I found jogging suit that was also pretty cheap so I might return it and trade. But that would be about 30 dollars so IDK. (I did it too) I pretty much have everything here in Caliornia, it is so much better here than it is in Brazil or Germany but at least Scott and Jason were willing to serve wherever thay were called.
Did Scott get the password? Sorry, I answered a lot of your questions in the letter to Kristie. I just never remember anything while we are at the Lie Berry. Oh, and now I'll make you all really jealous. I can email Jason, and he can email me! (evil laugh) But just so you know, Jason, my pday is on Monday, and I don't know what you want for Christmas so it will probably be pretty lame, and you probably won't get it 'til after christmas. Sorry.
And for my call home, do I really have to call home? I doubt you guys miss me anymore. Thanks for the package from Thanksgiving btw. I can recieve a call to my cell phone as long as it is after 7:15 pm on the 20th, 21st, 24th, or 25th. So you would have to call my phone and I could talk for an hour. Or I could call you during the day from a member's home and talk for an hour. So let me know some of the best times and when Jason is calling and we'll decide next week the time.
All right, love you!! That wasn't as short as I wanted it to be.
